About Calcumi
What it is
Calcumi is a set of calculators that each answer one question, in Romanian, English and Russian. You open the page, you see the answer, you leave.
There is no account, no newsletter and no step between your question and the number you came for.
Why it looks like this
Most calculators online take three clicks and bury the answer under advertising. Here the answer is the first thing on the page, and the explanations sit below it for anyone who wants them.
Every page works without JavaScript. The form is an ordinary form, and the answer is written into the page before any script runs.
How the answers are worked out
Everything is computed on request, on the server, from what you enter. Nothing is stored and nothing is passed on.
Public holidays are never subtracted automatically anywhere on the site. They differ by country and change from year to year, and an unmaintained calendar would give a wrong answer without saying so. Where it matters, there is a field for you to enter your own.
Who makes it
Calcumi is built and maintained by Dimitri, in the Republic of Moldova.
If you find a wrong number, or wording that reads badly in any of the three languages, write to dumitru.barbuta1@gmail.com. Those messages are the most useful ones.
