  2. Pick the end date.
  3. You get the number of days both ways, plus the weeks.

Worth knowing

Why there are two answers

From 1 to 2 January one day has passed, but there are two days if you count both. The first is the count deadlines and interest use, the second the one holidays and bookings use. The page gives both so you do not pick the wrong one.

Leap days are counted

Days are counted from one date to the other, not by multiplying years by 365, so every 29 February in the range is included.

Frequently asked questions

Is the first day counted?

It depends what you are counting, so the page shows both: the days that passed between the two dates, and the number of days if you include both ends.

Can I enter the dates in any order?

Yes. If the second is earlier than the first, the calculator puts them in order and answers the same.

Are weekends counted?

Yes, every day counts here. There is a separate tool for working days only.

Are the dates I enter stored?

No. The answer is computed on request, the page is kept out of every shared cache, and the site keeps nothing about its visitors.
